Or maybe they need to give all the teachers a jar of acid in England, I'm not really following your logic.

pat8lanips: Just had a quick look, it seems the average is 96 shootings each day in America. Maybe if acid was used instead of guns, more would survive to tell the tale...

By and large the highest amount of shootings are suicide, and other means can be found to accomplish the same ends.
So you would prefer to have acid thrown in your face to being shot?dunno
Me thinks you should watch the entire video. But it just shows when you take away one weapon they find another. Takes guns away from law abiding citizens is not the anwer.

Firearms were used to kill 13,286 people in the U.S. in 2015, excluding suicide. Approximately 1.4 million people have been killed using firearms in the U.S. between 1968 and 2011. This number includes all deaths resulting from a firearm, including suicides, homicides, and accidents.

Thats from Wikipedia, but yes you're right, the 96 per day figure did not state that 64% of those were suicides, leaving only 30 something people being shot each day. Which is insignificant compared with 7 people being stabbed in one day in England. And I'm certain most of the suicides would have stabbed themselves or used acid if they didnt have proper access to a machine gun.

They didnt steal anything, they paid a pre determined price. They regularly have amnesties where you can turn them in no questions asked.

We're probably a bit tougher, and punch on rather than shoot kids. Meh, you guys will catch up eventually, it might just take a few more decades.

mollybaby: It's pointless arguing the point anyway

Pro-gunners are never going to listen to the opposing view

They just can't see that countries where people aren't armed have less gun crime.

Such ignorance. The so called "Pro-gunners" have the opposing view shoved down our throats and up our backsides day in and day out. We disregard it because it has no basis in fact. It's the pro-gun control crowd who doesn't listen because they have their heads in the sand about pretty much anything that has any important truth to it.
And those places that have gun control, usually have more violent crime that is either from their government, organized crime or anybody that can pick up a rock, club, knife, their bare hands or all of the above.
If you and others were honest you would admit that gun control doesn't stop crime.
But you and others go ahead and deny the truth as it makes you all seem so intelligent.
We need to arm Teachers because schools are such easy targets & truthfully one or two armed officers in some cases wouldn't be enough.
In this day & age in the US, you have to ask yourself, why are people attacking schools and what drives them to want to murder in the first place. Well why would violent coward attack something like a police station when schools make such an easy & inviting target. And two. The liberals have taken to forcing our schools from teaching reading, writing, arithmetic and Christian values and replaced it with teaching kids about white privilege, female inequality, environmentalism, liberalism and many other false ideologies.
And now most of our children are confused and some of them become so confused they make decisions that cost peoples lives.
