galrads: I agree with all that but I want to add few cops are out there daily looking to make trouble of an sort like they’ve been accused of. The law enforcement people I know just want to survive and collect their handsome pensions.

Friskyone: Should teachers and other school officials be armed with guns to protect the students?

Yeah right so using that fluffylogic of yours that you so love, you'd have no choice but to also agree that 'It's Working' in every other school that NOT armed teachers and has not had a shooting ?

And no one's telling me where it is in the training manual that a single officer is expected to head in and do John Wayne ...

No time to read through all.

There are already schools with armed staff members and have been for quite a while. They haven't made much for headlines since they haven't been assaulted by immoral people so far.

It's not arming all teachers. At the moment, it's directed at select school staff members with specialized training, of which I hope there is a bill drawn up and that it goes through. I also hope is does allow for other additional security. Hopefully people that will do their jobs in the face of danger instead of not protecting and serving.

Creating a nation of victims where every one is supposed roll over for the criminal element isn't the way to go.

maybe one day America will start educating from birth, we ourselves don't enjoy pain and suffering, and so therefore we should not cause others pain and suffering to others either.
Just like ourselves all sentient beings have been migrating from life to life since beginningless time.
All sentient beings have in the past fed, cared and protected us, so we should always remember to develop loving-kindness towards all our brothers and sisters, cherish them and do unto all as we would have done unto-us
Took me a long time so I wont hold my breath while you all get arount2itdoh

Other people are just as important as me is not an easy ethic to instill in a nation of child actors all trying to be something they're not. You've seen what they've done to Jesus and I don't believe singing songs of love is going to make the difference, the spoilt don't need that, what they do need is the drubbing of their lives. Real violence is the only thing which can temper the toy soldiers of her indoors suburbia.

It'll teach them the consequences of actions, that's what a fight would do. When Americans go through the first battle which turns them into men they will consider themselves responsible for what they are responsible for. What is obviously a homegrown American problem would not be blamed on the muzzies for example. These men need a reason to have self-respect, these massacres will get worse when the authority itself is run by a broken toy child.

They say that violence breeds violence when I disagree, I think affluence and peace breed fantasy violence. Comfort in the suburbs creates a regression session en masse which can not be reasoned or compromised with and is as delusional as it is defensive.

But after he graduated from college in the spring of 1968, making him eligible to be drafted and sent to Vietnam, he received a diagnosis that would change his path: bone spurs in his heels.

The diagnosis resulted in a coveted 1-Y medical deferment that fall, exempting him from military service

The fact that a candidate seeking the presidency received military deferments or otherwise avoided fighting in Vietnam is not unusual. Voters have shown themselves willing to look past such controversies, electing George W. Bush, who served stateside in the Air National Guard during the Vietnam era, and Bill Clinton, who wrote to an Army R.O.T.C. officer in 1969 thanking him for “saving me from the draft.”

After his 18th birthday, in June 1964, Mr. Trump registered with the Selective Service System, as all men his age did. It was the summer after his graduation from the New York Military Academy,

Mr. Trump received the first of four education deferments as he worked his way through his undergraduate studies, first at Fordham, in the Bronx, and then as a transfer student in the real estate program at the Wharton School, in Philadelphia.
