Two questions:

Why do we criticize?

When do we criticize?

My take is that if I, which is very seldom, criticize, it is for the purpose of improving a situation. I find it a very effective tool in making things right or better.

What about you, do you ever criticize?

Thanks all for your participation.bouquet have a good day everyone.

Someone condemned the US slogan of "AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" and stated that this country was once great when the Indians were roaming in the plains.

Oh yes? As oppose to now? The Indians are in better place now than when they were roaming don't you think?

Maybe if I find one, I would ask in a very sincere way, if they can, would they want to go back in that time as opposed to how they live today.

I like critisizm Lindsy.
When its given constructively and not patronizingly.
It depends to me who is giving it because some cannot give it without the feeling they are looking down their nose at you.

Nobody likes to be criticized...
Constructive or not...
It takes time for the person to realise it was a "good" kind of criticism...
To accept a criticism you have to admit your own mistake and that doesn't happen easily...

There's no easy answer to that question.

Imperialists want to make all nature as grey as themselves, and they have the might to do it. Now does might make righ.. and is it a good thing for all the diversity of human development to integrate within the banality of one system that if it were to fail would then wipe out all mankind?

Between your version or the truth and DeeDee,I feel you're both righ.laugh Nobody likes to be criticised but from my experience, there is no doubt in definitelly enormous differences when I am facing Villains scorpions bites of poison criticisms that does not have any zest of good intent to improve anything in person, as imperfect human being that we all are but instead the only intent is to tottaly distroy person in attempt of throwing extra loads of bricks coming from everywhere... to make sure, person won't lift up his/her head again ...(which can hit Villains back as boomerang lol)....and
in comparisment to friendly constructive criticism that support one's growth without feeling resentment, it's close to heaven when one can even joke on self account. cheers

Hello Lindsey Jones, Yes we can make things right or better, but we can also upset a lot of snowflakes with the facts and you know how the democrats hate the facts coming out and exposing the bubble of denial they are living in....I like the truth and sometimes the truth can be hard for a lot of people to take, but what is the alternative? living in denial of reality and denying responsibility for everything you do in your live?

If facts are offensive, then what are nasty lies? The democrats should think about this question everytime they look in their mirror of vanity and self depravity

They just can't accept the facts when someone shows them, their reality is not reality and so many must have mental conditions, because it's clear as day to people like us and rational thinkers

Exactly. I'm resigned on their blindness Lee.

That being said, I'm not giving up if it means my death, I'd do it to declare the TRUTH.

i think criticism comes from one place.....EGO.
it requires that you think you know better than anyone else, so you judge and criticize to improve a situation for your own ends.

unless a person has asked for advice or knowledge in a certain area, or unless you are in a position ie. work supervisor.... i can't see how criticism is anything other than self rightousness coming from a place of self adulation. and if you are in that position of needing to help correct a situation, then that requires 'correction' not criticism'. love and compassion suggests there are other ways of dealing with issues.
ahhhhhh that ego..... it's a tricky one......laugh

If I was one I would go back to those days, much simpler and happier.

Now everyone is chasing money, and it does not make the world go round, it is bad for just about everyone that has it or not. Everyone just wants more and more, so it's useless !!!
