rainbowdream2017: Sorry to shorten your message because I couldn't add any word if I didn't. You make some good remarks too, although too much expressiveness can kill it....but we are the way we are, and staying true to self seems challenging when you have a lot to say, while becoming more aware that, short to the point way is a useful skill that can save us some troubles. Some times I wish I can say in a few short words, when I feel to write a book lol. Not easy - I know. It's rare to find someone that measures every word and always say a perfect word to bless ...More or less, there's hardly a soul left that's not missing any correction and improvement in communication skill. One that try's to teache you - is also the one who needs to learn...and it's always easer to see other shortcoming. Maybe the main key is; we need to be patient with ourselves and others....and it's easier said than done.
No problem with shortening my message, Rainy. I know I use up most of the space I'm allowed. When you say "too much expressiveness", are you saying that I'm OVER clarifying? True to self has never been a problem, as far as I can see. I'm ALWAYS myself. Regardless of how much, or how little I say. And I'll admit that I COULD say what I have to say, more briefly. But then I'd be doing what I'm complaining about. NOT being clear! As far as teaching and learning go, I'm ALWAYS interested in learning. Of ALL sorts. Maybe your comment about patience is the best one. I know I'm not a particularly patient individual. Anyway, thank you, Rainy! You're a good woman! And I appreciate your contribution.
Let_Us: Get over it, Serene. If you can't (or won't) adapt, then there's not much I, or anybody, can do for you.
I was responding to this, from your post
"But i really DON'T irritate people, just for the fun of it (usually, anyway). But I AM curious about WHAT IT IS, I do, that irritates them. I'm ALWAYS interested in learning! "
Maybe I should have replied with a two-page narrative, but I usually find simple is best.
lindsyjones: Someone condemned the US slogan of "AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" and stated that this country was once great when the Indians were roaming in the plains.
Oh yes? As oppose to now? The Indians are in better place now than when they were roaming don't you think?
