You know if you do that again try half water and half vinegar and use it where you are burned at. It will help. I know this but be prepared you will smell different after bathing in that .

I used some Banana Boat stuff I had that has aloe and lidocaine in it. Kept applying that, worked great, and I didn't stink like a pickle.
My mother is an accomplished pianist. I was fortunate to grow up with the sound of beautiful music floating throughout the house. Through the years, I've given her sheet music as gifts of some of my favorites: Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Debussy's Clair de Lune, and so many others. And now that is she is aging, and her eyesight is becoming an issue, I snuck a light to clip on her music stand so she can more easily see her sheet music (she still doesn't know who did that). She is in her mid-80s, dementia is becoming more and more pronounced, arthritis is taking hold of her magical fingers. I realize that my days of sitting in the living room, being woven into spells by her magical fingers will soon come to an end. Today I am feeling nostalgic. I live in another city and only get "home" a couple of times a year now. I have asked her if she thinks she can still play Clair de Lune. She is going to try for me. I am going "home" for Easter. I know she will be practicing diligently just for me. My relationship with my mother is complicated, but she has a gift. She has touched so many lives throughout her own life with her gift. This will most likely be the last time I hear Claire de Lune from my mother's piano.

Am glad the banana boat worked for you. I keep that on hand also. With a wild assortment of other stuff. Every year I usually get a little burn and then I am fine the rest of the summer. The vinegar recipe seems to work better and faster for me. And it stops me from peeling.

She made some albums when she was young, before she birthed four brats. I will ask where those recordings are when I am with her next weekend, and make sure they are in safe keeping.
