...so it begs the question....
...are you running a tab?....
I think a lot of people are running tabs with those numbers
Track16: Something is being milked somewhere along the lines. Every other province is doing fine. NL reported good numbers even.
i think most provinces are. i'm currently in ontario....
Ontario's provincially-run cannabis distributor is set to lose $25 million in the current fiscal year, according to projections in the 2019 budget released by Queen's Park on Thursday.
The losses are the result of its initial investment in developing a wholesale distribution network, combined with the fact that OCS has sold relatively little product so far — which the provincial Progressive Conservative government blames on the federal Liberals.
combined with the few options for purchasing legal recreational cannabis in ontario...i am not surprised. and if one looks at the OCS site...it's not brain surgery to figure out why the sales are so low.
government sales in BC are doing fine, with complaints that they are up against the home grown culture that already exists.
jono7: ....one can only wonder how they managed to lose that much $$$ selling cannabis (me thinks that's a lot administration and testing....... )
oh I can tell ya....orders not being delivered within one day as promised....some orders taking months or not delivered at all....1000 complaints in the first month...short supply...etc etc....im sure have just either decided to grow it themselves or go back to the black market rather than go through all that nonsense....
now that stores are opened that doesn't solve the problem...there are too few stores to serve the population of Ontario....25 stores don't cut it....

doin' the math.....
that means 1 legal dispensary per every 43,000 sq. miles... or... that means 1 legal dispensary for every 572,800 people....
