Miwagi: I always prefer someone like Jerry Seinfeld who could be funny without using the F-word or the N-word in every sentence. I also like Jay Leno and George Carlin, even though Carlin could be pretty raw he was so intelligent he could make it work. I like intelligent humor not shock humor like an Andrew Dice Clay for example. Howard Stern is another I don't find all that funny. To each their own I guess.

I find very few stand-up comedians funny. They try too hard for my liking.
I enjoy regular, witty, off-the-cuff people.
But if I did have to choose professional comedians, I'd probably go with people like Jo Brand or Maeve Higgins
