pedro27: no fighting here...........is there any difference in you're opinion ?
Only differing accents Pedro. As for the whole Irish/British thing ..there will always be those who hold onto the past....most will and have moved on. Those who have moved on are those ill give my energy to.
Saying that ive been to Belfast alot Did the falls/shankhill tour.
My heart is Irish...but it doesnt have room for hate of the British.

I was in Manchester watchin utd play, where did you find ''hate'' in it?
Without exaggeration, every second Irish person I've met in my life haven't waited long in a conversation before throwing some insults against the English... Same with Scottish, even in front of (ex) my English partner and my son...
Historically, the British must have the record for showing more cruelty towards others everywhere, unlike the Irish terrorists who just liked to blow up schools and churches with kids in them to communicate their point. That’s what my last and Scottish wife believed and told me, she did.
what our forefathers did.....and the goverment....has made the Irish wary of us.....blame them.not the man in the street.....my ex father in law was Irish......a lovely man we got on well together.....even after i divoced his daughter.....before he died....said to me...my daughter was a bloody fool.....i miss him.....salt of the earth... bill.....................

Good for you, Dee! If ONLY more people were as thoughtful! I KNOW you "hate" it, because you've said so, BUT
And I WAS going to make THIS comment, SOONER or LATER! But HERE seems as good a place as ANY! There IS a difference, between the Irish and the English! The Irish are PREDOMINANTLY "Kells" (Celtic), while the English are mainly Anglo (with some Teutonic and Pictish thrown in). And BOTH groups have an admixture of Scandinavian/Norse tossed in, for "flavor"! (Where did you think the Irish redheads came from?)
