I am keen on travelling:) And on the top of all cities that I visited there is London.I visited a lot of museums. My favorite one is Museum of London. The only place I was scared by :London Bridge Experience:)))) OMG...I am still remember it with fears in my mind:)))People around had a good laugh from me:))))
Been to more than 40 countries and every time I felt like there's no other place like home...
You are lucky... But I always have a depression when I return home. If I was a magician I would travel endless:)) So what country surprised you the most and why?:)
Ive been to a few places over the years. Have to say my favourite places so far have been Edinburgh, Brussels, and Boston.
All in my opinion very nice citites .friendly people...warm feeling from the people..most especially Edinburgh...its like home from home.
When I was in London I wanted to visit Edinburgh... But unfortunately didn't do it...so I hope in the future. What is the most memorable place for you there?

To be honest I don't recall being even slightly surprised by any country, my expectations have been more often lowered than exceeded...

Welcome to the forum ! Ive traveled true bigger part of Australia, a few Asian countries and most countries in EU and from all the beautiful places I sow ....visiting my birth country/ city, always makes me more emotional, happy when there and in tears when leaving....and yet I feel it's enough for me to be in my birth city for a month - than missing to go home, back to my life in Melbourne.
Tomuska: Travelling gives us new emotions. It would be great to know about somebody's emotions about visiting any interesting places:)

The castle is beautiful. Did an under ground ghost tour too...
The mixture of different types of pubs. The nightclub there is very good. If you like a mixture of different cultures in one city id recommend going in August when the Fringe Festival is on.... But what makes it are the people...genuine ..nice friendly. Belfast is also a great city if you were ever thinking of coming to Ireland.

My first time there me and my girlfriends missed it by a few days ..we didnt go for that reason..we didnt even know it was a thing. Ive looked it up and been told loads about it and im making it my mission to get back there if not this year then next as im going away somewhere else this year.
There are live shows..comedy shows...arts..markets and the likes...looks like a great festival. Theres also an interactive live horror show there that a good friend of mine told me he was at and it scared the living daylights out of him...so of course thats what ill be doing first.
The shopping is good too...alot of antique clothing shops if thats something your into.
