Hi. Sorry to disturb you, but I have a question you might be able to answer for. I know next to nothing about computers, but apparently you do. I'm trying to learn how to backtrace an email address, to0 learn who owns it and where they're located. The reason I'm interested is I'm curious about a couple of people that I'm corresponding with, that I have suspicions of them being scammers. And I'd LIKE to be able to verify if ANY of the information I have about them is correct. I intended to message you privately about this, but couldn't. So I'm doing it here. And such info could be just as useful to others, here, as it would be to me. So, IF you're willing to share any info, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thats a easy one, in that way...you can get to the location, NOT the address.
Google Whois...enter e-mail from sender and it shows the country and province. So when a e-mail comes from a certain country, you can assume its scam. Thats the first step to take. If they write you in bad grammatic english, and the mail comes from a country were the language is english...well be suspicious.They probably use a vpn to redirect the location.
For more details (personal data etc), but thats illegal, you need to hack servers...but not impossible.

Sorry I didn't read the rest of the question.That I most likely told the cashier in regards to who contributes to the payroll fund in order for her to get a paycheck on paydays.I have done exactly that for real but never been arrested.Reminded a cashier in front of other customers of where her paycheck actually comes from.
