pedro27: @Hex...

Bearwoman is a genuine lady, so don't post your arguments against her....ok....?

Your thread ... but if it's OK that she attacks me and you choose to take away the right of reply in self defence ... entirely up to you!

Do YOU think my first post was an attack on you ... or are you bright enough to differentiate between calling a person a nutter and pointing out that a thread would attract nutters ???

HexagonKeySet: Plainly THAT post sailed right on over your head Pedro!

If you're currently lucid, then you can go back and read what I actually wrote !

You might also, when you're well enough, consider the work of Emille Coue on autosuggestion and the impact of AS on recovery and the delay of recovery!

As for having an elephant hide - you've not had a hard word from me !

ah forget itcheers

We've never had a harsh word between us Pedro ... no plans on letting any 3rd Party Mis interpetration be the cause of it now Fella

cheers <<< Guinness if it's allowed ... shandy if the regime prohibits it ;-)

But seriously ... when you feel up to it check out Emile Coue !!!

MsContessa: As a man, to show such vulnerability as to discuss mental health, displays in you, a great strength of character! I have never had issues with mental health so I have no idea what you or others are going through. But I believe it is probably the worst illness anyone can endure! Keep well

One of the many reason's I discuss it is I find it ''fascinating'' thumbs up yes I joined schizophrenia.com threads and yes what they endure is a lot worse than one thinks, mostly no satisfaction in life, my heart goes out to them in every way but there can be success stories too, there is ''hope'' there and many find it...

thank you, I was told before I had 'strength of character' I didn't know this, now I docheers

God Bless

Hexagon Who attacked who first ? Who made the very first post in this particular thread?
When did I mention your screen my first post to pedro? Are you that paranoid? I was speaking in general about sometimes preferring animals to humans.

You got your wish and I took your bait. Are you happy now?

HexagonKeySet: I dunno if you are BRAIN DEAD, plain stupid or just looking for a fight ... cos I already told you the meaning of that first post and YOU insist on placing YOUR interpretation over that!

I'm not looking for a fight. I've always been a straightforward lady.See there you go again calling people names.

pedro Sorry I will not allow anyone to accuse me of something that i didn't do or say and then call me names.

My mother taught me from a small child to always stick up for myself when being attacked/bullied by anyone and what's right regardless of gender.

If you wish to disallow me on your thread topics I won't be upset with you.I'm staying off them anyway.hug

doh

Perhaps your Mum could have spent more time on teaching you some english comprehension and to read what was written?

Maybe a moment or two on ' the courtesy of accepting what another person tells you when they explain again ;what they meant' as opposed to your insisting that your misinterpretation was that ... ie incorrect would also not have gone amiss!

Carry on ... have the last word ... you're 'entitled' eh!

But calling me names like bully and falsely alleging an attack ... as I said earlier, much like your making snidy indirect remarks it's cowardly and unbecoming of a woman of your senior years !

peace

Sure, and all grit to your mill ... so, I wonder if you'll reply to my earlier comment (repeated here as a cnp)

Down here (NZ) people are 'making stars of themselves' by claiming and using 'nutter' ... believe it or not ( and I encourage you NOT to believe it but to research it yourself) we have a bloke called Willy Jackson who both hosted a show called " The Nutter's Club " and got himself voted into parliament almost solely on the basis of his mental health problems ...

I'm all in favour of helping people who suffer distressing conditions ... and I also have to question the rationality of placing decisions of national importance in the hands of people who are / claim and claim notoriety off the back of their real (and/or) claimed insanity ?

I'll 'play devil's advocate' and ask is there a risk of glorifying mental illness rather than just removing the stigma?

And I'll push the frontier a little ...Very may people who suffer MH issues are remarkably intelligent ... and they (appear) to 'exploit' their issues to gain advantages that are denied to 'regular folk' ?

It's a damned hard life when one is NOT a member of some minority these days ...

peace

Bearwoman: Now I know why a good share of the time that I prefer 4 legged animals over most humans.

Obviously some people don't have any respect for people who do have certain conditions.

It's really sad to what levels our society has become. I just shake my head and ask myself was I raised wrong by my mother?Did I raise my two sons wrong?

I did used to think the same Bearwoman, dismayed at people's attitudes and deffinatly prefared animals to people, so I got a job working with animals...There's lots of young people work there too, you know what they're the nicest bunch I've met in my life...totally changed my attitude! There's lot's of lovely people out there, you just have to find them!
