If you were 80% positive that someone was going to commit murder and only 20% not sure if he would.

Would you send him to prison, based on the fact that he had not committed murder YET but there was an 80% chance that he would?

What would you do?

dunno

We are not in Minority Report territory yet.

Have that person watched but not jailed unless they do something to warrant it.

First, one does the offence first.
Then there is a trial for their offence.
Then is the sentence by the courts if found guilty

I would probably give them a few names and numbers/addresses.
Then leave the country until the coast is clear

Another gender biased post ...assume that ONLY men might commit murder?

Really ...

Well, I guess as some of you lot in the feminist movement regard ALL men as 'Potential Rapists' it would be better if we all just get sent off go build prisons for our selves .... just in case we do anything wrong ?

Overnight it would reduce the homeless problem by about 80% and millions of blokes who couldn't otherwise afford it could study for Uni Degrees (especially Law) And, after serving the sentence for that which we did not do but 'had the potential for' we could sue the women who imprisoned us wrongly and regain the wealth we all lost through relationship settlements !

cheers
