A carefully chosen emoji can be useful for augmenting a comment but I'm not sure the converse of this principle works, where you pick a word you like in order to compliment a plethora of emojis. And as for the posts that dispense with the written word entirely......

This is normal for men to as such questions:) becuase the most men do not read women's profiles. Majority of women (so do I) hate simple greetings in the meeting/dating websites. Just hi...hello... You can be more attentive and ask about something that you are interested and looing for in your matches...

I know it from my experience:) e.g. if a woman gets 3-4 messages from men in dating websites, all 3-4 of them begin with hi or hello. Then men wait whether you reply or not:)
