There are years of articles, T.V. news stories & videos, of big lottery winners ending up completely broke and often with their life in shambles.

There are claims by accountants and psychologists that most people can not emotionally handle any more than $300.000 at a time, unless they were already accustomed to handling large amounts of money. Most over spend it, and/or give the money away.

1- What would you do with OVER $300.000 (USD) = 242,010.30 (Euro) in cash?

2-Do you think you could handle it?

After all the financial disaster stories. The first thing I would do is retain a lawyer who specializes, and set up trust funds and also an account, for taxes (especially inheritance taxes, which is criminal, IMO).

No, I don't think I could handle it. I wouldn't react well to people coming out of the woodwork claiming to be needy, long lost relatives or charites calling me for donations, everyday..
I would probably have to hire a personal assistant or secretary, to screen my calls. And maybe bodyguards.

Then I would be miserable having to hire people to keep other people away from me.

A good friend of my daughter's partner, has won over £60 mil on the euro lottery. He's kept his feet firmly on the ground as to yet!

Knowing me, I would likely fritter it away in nonsense and pointless things, plus the partying.

I should never have large amounts of money because I'm just too irresponsible laugh

I had no idea that the average house, across the globe would cost this much.

That would explain all the articles on the middle-class disappearing. I even seen one saying that some people who think they are middle-class aren't. That they are just comparing themselves to their peers.

Here.. we have government land grab and foreigners (corporations) buying it up.
And builders making housing complexes that are extremely small. With no where to park a car. Especially in California... tiny apartments and bike trails, like China.

We are the 3rd most populated, but this is ridiculous... But hey, let's bring more people in who refuse to assimilate

doh Rant over
