I remember in NYS when my neighbors went to a Chinese Restaurant and the local health department came and told everyone they were closing it down because you all are eating cat. In Vietnam they serve dog too.

The My Lai tragedy involved a number of cowardice murderous US troops shooting up a village of non combatants on March 16, 1968, not their livestock.
The helicopter pilot who stopped this slaughter returned to Vietnam years later to find a tribute honoring him in village.
The Vietnamese living there when he returned asked if the soldiers responsible for the killings were going to return there so that they could forgive them.....
