Scientists are still not sure why one person can have no allergic reactions at all whereas another may have serious allergic reaction to either one specifis allergen or several. I did many allergy tests and the results were always negative. Yet, I constantly use a nasal spray and often even medicines and creams, when the allergic reaction gets strong. There are absolutely no rules or patters when it gets stronger. It simply happens every now and then. Since I'm not really allergic to anything, according to the tests, there's not much to be done about it, except to take the medicine and cream when needed. All the doctors I talked about had more or less similar conclusion: ''Your organism is simply hypersensitive''. So, I've learned to live with it.

Yes, allergy is such a complicated process.
The doctors are right, you are allergic to anything, but there other factors that can switch on nasal problems. Really your nose as well as for smelling is also a defence mechanism and designed to prevent anything getting in. A runny nose, nuisance though it is, washes all the unwanted invaders out.
Some people have a very active runny nose system. I’m the same. Only have to have a cool breeze hitting my nose and on come the taps!
