Sometimes I think our country without soul, without conscience when I think of things like this massacre .... I hope never again will we see anything so wrong, so brutal.

It's still happening, Gal.

The first drone attack authorised by Trump after coming into office killed 23 civilians, including 10 children under the age of 12.

President Trump described the attack as a 'win'.

The drone assassination programme was started by Obama, but has been ramped up by Trump. Thousands of people have been murdered, targets being selected using a faulty computer algorithm. 80% of the men, women and children killed have never been named.

Countries aren't supposed to have souls, but the same does not apply to those in power.

I didn't want to submit to the army and then, on the day of judgment, have God say to me, 'Why did you do that?' This life is a trial, and you realize that what you do is going to be written down for Judgment Day — Muhammad Ali

I know that the USA is a big boy on the block but that still doesn’t explain why the USA is not called on the carpet for atrocities like My Lai and failed drone attacks with collateral damage. Those wrongs have to catch up to us sooner or later.

On the other hand, if another country manages to physically invade the USA even with conventional weapons, the global economy should be devastated worse than the Great Depression which started in 1929.

Re... Muhammad Ali ... I recall watching him discuss his Vietnam position on several afternoon tv talk shows. Ali also extended the dialog to near hate for white rule in the USA and how bad this country was for Black opportunity.

During one of these arguments Ali became quiet when Sylvester Stewart asked him where he lived. Sly promoted integration, where Ali promoted only Blacks.

Sly was a black musician, songwriter and singer who helped develop rock funk and soul while being one of the first to promote and integrate different races and gender in his popular group... sly and the family stone.

I loved Sly’s positive unifying attitude ... which is most evident in his song ‘Everyday People.’

Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong
My own beliefs are in my song
The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then
Makes no difference what group I'm in
I am everyday people, yeah yeah

There is a blue one who can't accept the green one
For living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one
And different strokes for different folks
And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee
Oh sha sha - we got to live together
