I can understand rich people doing it so to look after their assets if they have evidence from good sources.

I used the audio part of my security cameras at home when I was selling my home so I could a.) make sure nothing funny was going on and b.) to see if I could figure out what people really thought of the house I was selling.

That show "Cheaters" comes to mind. Oh my gosh, that is a sad show. Who in their right mind would go on there? They had the one partner set up cameras in their home. Very sad. And it is not just men, it is women who set the cameras up too.
But like someone said it is cheaper than getting a private investigator and you have film at 11.
