I prefer the actual book. On the subject of books does anyone know a free e book site I can download books from? Books here are very expensive I usually buy from Amazon but it still comes to a lot after shipping.

I used to read a lot but don't have the time anymore. I always read (paper) books, but it became a problem where to store them.
I now either go to the library or when I buy books, I'm giving them to charity shops once I finished with them. I do have some nice illustrated books I'm keeping.

Treebooks for me but for my children it is both.
They read soo much one could not store it.
And they are fast readers.
Going on holiday with them with a suitcase just full of books for them did not make sense.
ereader was a bit of a blessing.

I've had a kindle since shortly after they were released. I couldn't get enough of it.
Now I am back on paper books and my son has the kindle, which had been replaced with the computer screen.
Expensive new inventions gone to waste.
Will we never learn.
The first time new inventions r accepted, will be about 30/40 years later, when the old stuff is just too old, for anyone, including us.

Treebooks make you look like an educated person when you use them to decorate all the walls. People don't need to know that you sit around all day not reading them.

Although I am reading a series of real books at the moment (they were a gift), most of the time I use the kindle.
It is much easier to read, especially in bed. And is a godsend when travelling. Half of my luggage used to be taken up my heavy books before, now I can just take my little kindle, and even upload books when I am away if I run out.
The only real books I buy now are hardbacks or books I want to keep forever.
