My mother could be very tactless. She would call it being honest. When still very young she told me one day that I was not her type. I was the oldest of six and she could come out with these "honest" sayings.........
She would give me 50 cent on a Sunday and to take two of the other kids with me and take them swimming Swimming cost 50 cents a person. Mother knew this of course...........I was about ten years old then... I would tell the cashier that I only had 50 cents for all three of us. I realized the line up was getting long so I decided to stay put. The cashier saw that I was not going to move, not that day anyway, and would finally say; "Oh go on' It worked every time

Yeah you can say that again. I could fill a book about my mother, lol I did write a book, no joke but not about her. Called an autobiography but that sounds to high falutin
Funny part is mother hated lying so she said to me one time. Well mom who told me to tell the bus driver that I was 11 when in fact I was 14 years old?

I could understand your mother, and yet some times I wish I didn't broth up my daughter to be too honest, even with dishonest people.

I have put my experience from the war on here every year around November One publisher told me she like the war stories the best. Yes, because you don't often hear it from a child. I was born in '37 Remember a lot of it................

One2note: I'm an avid history follower. Mail me the tittle , if it has been published?
Because everyone and his dog has written a book these days, self publishing is the only way to go. It is on the internet and it is free.................. Jenny

This would be a good one to tell next time in church when you tell them about the burning in the bozem It would fit in there real good

After having told your testimony about the burning in your bozem, perhaps the bishop would appreciate this "Joke"
