When something happen, and 5 people saw it happen:-

Will the police report be exactly the same for all 5 people ?

When a word is queried and:-

U say it's right and I say it's wrong.

We both believe in right and wrong, but we perceive right and wrong according to our individual standards.

So right and wrong for me
is Totally different than
right or wrong for u ?

(I hope u understand what I'm trying to get across here, about perception and what we perceive ?)

Let_Us: No offense meant, Snooks, but hasn't this phenomena aroused your attention BEFORE you've reached whatever age it is, you've reached? I find it curious that you're curious - ENOUGH - about it, at this point in your life, to start a thread about it!

IF you talk to police, you'll find that THEY consider "eye-witnesses" to one of the MORE "unreliable" sources of information! Because NO 2 EYE-WITNESSES EVER report the "same" thing(s)! If ANYTHING, eye-witnesses tend to CONFUSE the issues, for police depts. And the phenomena is NOT confined to "right & wrong", in ANY sense! Eye-witnesses can't even agree on the color of a person's shirt, or hair!

The WHOLE PROBLEM reaches all the way back to the "INVENTION" of language! And I DON'T have time to go INTO it, here. (I can hear you ALL sighing! The little "THANK GOD!" whispers!) But an adult SHOULD BE thoroughly familiar with this aspect of communication! I'm UTTERLY AMAZED that you'd create a thread about it!

U definitely Don't know the difference between right and wrong and moral values.

Don't write on my threads, u chase everyone away.

If they can probe to the core, it will be a better estimate.

Why do anyone really want to know anyway ?

When earth started, humans were not even a blink in the eye.

Its a semi molten core of mainly nickel (with some iron i think), with a different rotation to the lithosphere, and something like 9 or 12 grams per cubic centimetre. No need to drill.

How did they come up with that. U need to take a sample first, and not guess, and I can't see them getting to it with anything that exists today.

If I was to tell someone I stole a lolly by the time my story got to the fifth person the rumour would be I murdered somebody.

That is human nature. I don't think that they realize that they r embellishing, that's just how most people tell stories. The bigger, the better story, far fetched, the bigger and better audience.

pat8lanips: I think they discovered it when they were researching earthquakes, and pieced the rest together through how signals bounce off it and mathematical ways, combined with the rocks we see at the surface. As you say its not possible to drill further than a few kilometres down, and as I say there's no need to when we have already worked out whats there anyway. Thats according to geology lecturers and textbooks, you might have a better source of information.

Pat. That's still guessing, using theories. I need irrefutable proof, which I doubt I will get in my lifetime, and I'm not just being difficult.

I need proof on everything, before I believe it.
