Bnaughty: Unfortunately she did not have a tyre around her neck at the time otherwise it would certainly have been a Goodyear !
Her tombstone should incorporate a Firestone.
chris27292729: Peasefull revelution is rare in Africa, where the whites used to govern. Mau Mau in Kenya,Mozambique ,Rhodesia,. are prime example. You cannot expect velvet treatment, when the whites were murderus towards blacks. Normalization takes time, as happened in Mozambique and Rhodesia.

Just how murderous Rhodesian whites were towards blacks can be judged by the fact the the black population in 1900 of approximately 700 000 had increased to 6.8 million in 1979. Under Mugabe, there was a shortfall of some 3 million in population growth due to disease, malnutrition and violence.
Violence is an integral part of African culture and the writings of early missionaries, explorers & hunters describe it in graphic detail. Peaceful revolution (note spelling) never existed and Haiti, after 200 years of self rule, is no better than the Congo. The Australians are now learning that by painful experience.
The invasion, conquest and subjugation of Rhodesia by the Matabele (Zulu offshoots) under Mzilikazi in the first half of the 1800s was the culmination of a lifetime of atrocities. Mzilikazi exterminated 28 tribes prior to his invasion of Rhodesia. You might like to read the book, “Path of Blood” by Peter Becker to get a better idea of the culture.
Bspoken4: ........African materialism, personal greed and dictatorships on unprecedented scales.
The much vaunted liberation struggles were never about democracy or improving the lives of ordinary people but solely about power and loot. Each post colonial country in sub-Saharan Africa has become the personal fiefdom of whatever leader currently holds the position, Kabila being a prime example.
I’ve been told by someone on CS that I am obsessed for just talking about something brought up in one of my threads. . I thought maybe others like yourself are obsessed for bringing up a dead person instead of letting her rip.
