My retirement is much more than I need, and a little part time paid work, among volunteering, only just makes things worse. Knowing the concept of enough, being grateful, living a simple self-sufficient style, and so on, have all been wonderful for me. So why spend a few dollars weekly on a bet with less likelihood for a positive outcome than the chance of being struck by lightning has for a disaster? Certainly not to support the lies of government, which promises to use their main share it for education, etc., only to piss it away in the general fund. Because, I could then start a foundation for various charities, as I now do, but in more of the big league, rather than the peanut gallery. Giving it away always sees to bring much more in return. Funny how that works. Aa-V.
