I had to google what paleo diet is. Sounds quite sound and it's rather close to how I eat (safe for diary), though wondering why they excluded salt.

Paleo doesn't have the best reviews these days.

I eat like this for the last 10 years now, keep the same weight and feel good. What's in reviews?

If it works for you that's fine like anything else you will find the good/bad reviews about anything.

Indeed. Though no matter the diet, you need to count calories.

I don't believe in diets at all I believe in eating very healthy exercise plenty of water Protein shakes and when I say Protein shakes I'm talking about pure protein that cost's around $140.

The above works for me.

Well... every way to eat is a diet, you don't have to believe in it :)

Looks like you are building. I don't. My impression that gentlemen 50+ are overweight and under-fit. At least those, I've met so far, were. I don't build (muscle masse), I just like to be liftable, at least for the younger generation of men.

The older knights have class and style... (The rest of my post is deleted. I felt generous for one time sake, reason unknown)

Merc,
Ditto! I feel so great and energized when I'm fit!

It's hard to explain those wonderful feelings to someone who isn't fit. They often look at us with negativity and quickly label us something we aren't.

I just keep walking with my head held high. I know what it was like to be sick and I'm not going there again!!

Cheers!!cheering

Kaylana04: Merc,
I signed my kids up for the Stirnubuk (Roe deer) Forest races. It's a crazy event of splashing through streams, killing yourself on steep hills and then watching everyone get drunk while listening to mind numbing music! Good times!!!

I gained some ugly weight back in February when I broke my arm while ice skating... I need another month before I attempt the 12km race. I'm not out to win or place. Just for the thrill of completing the course. I'm usually in the back group - the ones stopping to take selfies on the top of the highest hill. Living for the moment!

(Turn down your volume if you watch this!!!)
I watched all of it with sound down applause

I would love to do something like that for real not sure if they do that here in Aus but we're into lot's of health gigs here so maybe just maybe we do have it herecheering

Selfiesrolling on the floor laughing

Take a selfie of me tripping and clambering but hey that would be a blastapplause
