Tulefell: Why "vs"? Ain't them two sides of the same coin? There is no good without bad or?
There is no good or bad without the fight between them and in the context of prolonged peace and comfort you will find neither the good nor the bad person, but the moron. For better or worse purpose becomes an altogether pettier affair as gilded society defaults on attention-seeking and vanity.

I don't see it as a fight, rather as a matter of perception. What's good for one, can be bad for the other.

It's BECAUSE they're two sides of the same coin, that they're "vs", Tutefell! Yes! There IS no "good", without "bad"! But it's THIS VERY FACT that makes/puts them IN opposition to each other!

MAYBE YOU understand THAT, CC! But I sorta DOUBT many/ANY others do! Reads like GIBBERISH, to ME!
Bearwoman: Why should there be any competition between good and bad anyway?
There IS no competition between "good", and "bad", BW! In the FIRST place, there IS NO "good" and/or "bad"! Good and bad ONLY EXIST within our heads! They have NO CONCRETE reality! They're judgments we make! Opinions about something! Things are just THINGS! There IS NO "good" or "bad". YOU probably think malaria is bad! But, odds ARE that malaria thinks you're good! It ALL DEPENDS on your point of view! I'm NOT going to get into language, duality, or philosophy, here, because I INTEND to be QUITE LAZY, today! Just TRUST ME on this! There ARE NO TWO THINGS - "good", and "bad"! So, SINCE they DON'T exist, they CAN'T BE in "competition", or "opposition". The ONLY thing the terms "good" and "bad" are good for, is describing a the person whose using them's perspective/opinion!

Whenever someone uses the words "Trust me" I become nervous.

pedro27: This is what it boiled down too
Offten its a matter of choice. One can decide to be in a good mood or a bad one, planty reasons for both, emotions does take a toll, specially stressful situations like when a car broke down on the road and it's a hot summer day.....waiting 1 hours for RISV service to come...
Also, illness change people too, senility, dementia or autism, bipolar etc. but no one should put up with a bad behaviour, no matter what's someone's illness is... but mental illness is 'out of hands' if medications are not right or not taken properly and that's part of understanding 'good vs bad ' or vice versa ...
