I can say that for every one time of my win, about 10 times my losses.
That is why I only do it for entertainment and set up my limit to lose.

I have been to vegas once and loved it...we stayed at balley's hotel and casino right on the strip...didn't win anything tho but I do like to play the slots....

M4, I don't enjoy the slots because of the fact that I never win, but like I said my mom won from the 5x 5x 5x quarter and it was fun. Long time ago. On Pai Gao which is my only table game, it is fun to get the cards and set it up skillfully and hope to win. It takes a long time to lose money, depending on how much per deal but there are many casinos which starts with $5.00 dollars minimum up to $300. Vegas has it set up generally from $25 to $10,000.00 I was sitting next to a couple from Texas and their minimum bet was 5 grand each deal at two deals for each. After 3 hours of playing they walked out with 40 grand. Sheesh, I thought to myself, I wish I were that lucky.

Absolutely Lee, that is why I don't do it for the hope of winning.I lose most of the time, but the feelings of entertainment it provides me is well spent.
I take the whole trip value for what it cost me. I always have fun. Eating at the Revolving restaurant on Top of the Stratosphere, and walking down the strip as well as the shows. I am, like I said, doing it just to get away.

Now that is a good reason why you wouldn't do it M4. I don't want you to lose your shirt. I have seen so many who are so remorseful for what they do. Google our local Casino near San Francisco. It is called Graton Casino. They just built it 5 years ago and as big and elaborate as Las Vegas. Heck it is always packed because of the big Asian Community in the Bay Area. Before this was built, there is about 2 hours drive to get to them Indian Casinos, now this one is built right in the heart of a big city 56 miles north of Frisco.

It's been years since I've gone to the casino but my favourite casino is one in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Love playing the slot machines and most times can play for hours and pretty much break even.
