An 84 year old friend of mine can’t stop belching. Burping keeps him up at night some times. No one here has been able to help him.

Does anyone in Europe have a remedy for this belching condition?

Many thanks in anticipation for a cure!

My solution to the problem would be to choose less annoying friends in future.

Thinking back to my childhood farm days... a belching cow had eaten too much grain.

Look at your friend's diet and try removing grains: wheat, rice, corn... the grasses. He's not a cow after all...

laugh I’ve milked a few cows but don’t recall one belching at the time.

Interesting though, I don’t know why but my friend does eat a lot of salads.

Thought about it for a while and landed on the answer that it just might.

One of my acquaintances went to USA for 6 months (to look after a sick relative) and during that time gained 8 kg. Upon returning to Sweden and her usual "European" life style, she lost the excess weight in following 6 months without any extra effort.

Who knows, perhaps a change in life style might help against burping as well? (Don't go for British life style though, they are as fat as Americans.)

Get your friend to do a food allergy test.

Get a nutritionist to go through the results with him and have a look at his eating and lifestyle habits in general.

For a start, he could try to drink either a tablespoon of organic apple vinegar in water or baking soda (not both!) and see if that helps after a while.

Hilow: Not even God can come up with an answer, that´s why for thousands of years God is on the hide out, because cant come up with an answer, and He´s about solving the human problem through extinction, saving only his few lackeys, and start over again.
Tru ... you must have owned a Barber shop for some time in the Queens, New York City USA.
