They're never there, their main thing is themselves joyriding picking up people for traffic offenses. In my personal experience, police I have had to deal with in the UK were either dishonest or indolent or both. As far as guns are concerned, as I said elsewhere the problem is IDIOTS with guns and a lot of them seem to be wearing a blue uniform and driving a jam sandwich.
We here in the good old USA lose approximately 100 every day of the year to gun deaths, and another 200 or so wounded.We live in a perpetual war zone.

a quick check on Wiki shows gun deaths per annum due to homicide in the states is 4.62 per 100,000, in the UK it's 0.06, think that says it all.More Threads
