I just say " Hi how are you going. My names ........... and I'm interested to learn more about you. Like what sort of music or activities are you into ? " and then wait to see if they reply. If I'm not interested I normally reply with a thanks but I'm not interested. I think it's curtious too.------ This thread is Archived ------

People make their own assumptions before a word is said.If there is no initial attraction, then you won't get a reply, unless it's a polite, "no but thanks anyway "
