Dutch prog rockers Focus started life as the pit band for the Dutch version of the musical 'Hair' in the very early 70s... They went on to have a couple of hit singles, this one 'hocus pocus' and the more restrained and lilting 'Sylvia'... Focus 1, 2 and 3, followed by 'moving waves' and 'hamburger concerto' cemented their status as Hollands premier music export of the decade... This is taken from their 1972 session at maida vale studios in England on 'the old Grey whistle test' ...
