I dont think the contest has much to do with music, maybe the strategic and geographic voting has reduced the need for talent or ability. Technically, Australia is not in Europe either, so no surprises Jessica Mauboy came 20th out of 24, when clearly she performed much better than most that beat her.

I heartily applaud and take my hat off to the UK singer "SuRei", who carried on with giving a great performance despite being physically attacked by some lunatic from the audience who had climbed up onto the stage during her song ... and despite the (questionable) finishing position, for me was certainly one of the best songs (and performances) on the night ... BRAVO!
