Raised a Catholic, the last time I made a public confession I started out saying something like... bless me father for I have sinned, it’s been ... uh .. this is my first confession in my adult life .......
I used to only speak, by using scriptures; as it is written, "He whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God;" and, "...Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."
The only time I went into a confessional, I only spoke scriptures, because it is written-
"He that is of God heareth God's words."
When I tried to confess my sins, using the scriptures... The priest's conscience was so guilty, he accused me of preaching to him, and kicked me out of the church.
As it is written-
"Ye therefore hear them not; because ye are not of God."
Whenever I'm aware of making a mistake, I say, I repent, and correct my mistake for everyone to read or hear, even in these forums.
I'd rather yell, I repent! then allow anyone to believe I'm correct, if I know I'm wrong.
It's not what other people think that matters; especially if they think we're right, when we know we're wrong.
We all have to stand before God, and be judged by him.
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
so ,,,, the high court judge said to the prisoner.........before i pass sentence ....do you wish to say anything.........the prisoner looked at the judge and said.............."nothing you old Ku*T......."....the judge being a little deaf.....said to the barrister what did he say..??????...the barrister shouted back.........HE SAID, NOTHING,,,YOU OLD KU*T"........the judge said oooooooooh ,I could have sworne i saw his lips move........
