I can't believe a psychopath like Sergio Ramos can still be allowed to walk the streets. The referee needs sanctioning. To have allowed a cynical tackle to go unpunished, is a crime itself. If the football authorities are going to do nothing, then the police should step in and arrest the thug and charge him with assault. I am going to sign the petition started by Liverpool Football Supporters to have Sergio Ramos punished.
Injuries are part & parcel in a game of football... if you were to sue every tackle that resulted in an injury , then footballers would spend more time in a courtroom, than on a football pitch. The tackle by Ramos wasn't a particularly malicious one, it was the awkward landing that resulted in the injury..

He’s the kind of man who would steal your wallet and help you look for it.
The Spanish are not proper Europeans and you’ll find the Mediterranean has a more African sense of fair play with corruption and violence all the more usual by comparison to anywhere of their borders. Remember Spain’s shameless and frankly unEuropean reaction to Catalonia not only last year but back in the days of Franco.
Bobjagger. The internet is full of clips of the cynical tackle. Please look carefully at it/them and then decide who should be hanging their head in shame. "POOR LOSERS"? At least they played the game without the assistance of a hit-man. For that is all you could say about him. Living in the UK means "Fair Play", in every aspect of life. We are very particular about how the GAME is played. That is why the game has rules. "POOR LOSERS"? THE ONLY LOSER HERE IS THE GAME OF SOCCER. So, Bobjagger, if your only input into this subject, is two words, then why did you bother stretching you brain so very hard?

To Bnaughty In case you hadn't noticed, this forum is international. "Football" in America means something very different. The term "Soccer" is international. To reb56 Accidental injuries, unfortunate, yes. Malicious wrestling moves, resulting in hospitalisation, are definitely not acceptable and should be punished.
Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players with a spherical ball. Wikipedia Team members: 11 per side (including goalkeeper) Equipment: Football (or soccer ball) Contact: Permitted (limited) First played: 19 December 1863, Limes Field, Mortlake, London, England Highest governing body: FIFA
It is a shame that not only does Spain breed criminals like Sergio Ramos, but also uneducated low-lifes like Bnaughty.

Exactly, Association Football, not Association Soccer, because Association Soccer doesn´t exist. No need to tell us that it´s played with a ball either as the clue is in the word "Football"
Hunkydoree: More than 500,000 people wished that Spain would lose to Russia, because of Ramos. It would seem that the power of prayer really works. Hahaha.
