A Medial Meniscus Tear.

Do you have much pain?
Did you have an operation for it , how successful was it ?
Or no problems at all.

I would appreciate hearing about your experiences, T I A.wave

Excess weight , or too much exercise often puts extra strain on the joins, leading to torn muscles.
Reduce fibre & cut out wheat & flour in order to speed up the healing process.

Very true..I had to do a lot of homework in regard to my body mechanics as I'm not one who goes to doctors.

Lowered my weight for my warm up stretched a lot more my left arm is so much better.

Our body is not designed to run for long periods.. It puts a lot of strain on our hearts , so people who run for miles & miles , are in essence, doing more harm than good.. short sprints & regular intervals, pump blood into the heart , then a little recovery time & so on.

I had a torn lateral Meniscus from a down-hill skiing accident. Hurt like crazy. Ended up having a scope procedure where the surgeon went in with a deburring tool and then suctioned everything out. I requested epidural for anesthesia and watched the entire procedure on a video monitor. I saw whatever the surgeon saw through the scope. Couple of weeks later and everything was fine. wave

Eating the right foods also helps when exercising... people have this misconception that carbohydrates give you energy, when in fact, it does the opposite.. carbs slow you down & our body cannot process the grains , this putting more stain on our joins, which inevitably, lead to muscle injuries.

That's pointless, unless you eat protein. Red meat will help the process because it has all the vitamins which help the muscle tissues to develop.

People need to exercise it doesn't mean a gym regime like I do but a walk every day some thing you have to exercise.

People think of exercise as an outer shell thing when in fact it's all about ones inner shell it's the inner shell that keeps us alive not the outer shell.

Exactly... our body is designed to fight most bacteria. Take cancer for example... we all have traits inside our system, but it's a sign of a diseased body , when it starts to spread. That's why it's so important to eat healthier , so our body is more equipped to fight off these bacterias .

I think mine is from an old injury, where i blocked my daughter,
coming downhill fast on her roller skates, she would have gone into bushes, and then into the lake
so her dad said let her go she will only go into the water, but i decided to block her, and she came at speed into my knee,, that will teach me to ,not be a mother hen laugh
