Meh, I dont see it that way snooky.
The OP is obviously right into it, and seeing if others are as enthusiastic as himself. I'm not, but rather than saying how crap the franchise is, and how they've obviously run out of ideas and talent, it seems more polite to say- sorry, I'm not a fan of this kind of rubbish.

The first one was a classic. Sequels rarely compare and this series is no exception. But still they are better than most of the crap coming out of Hollywood these days. The special effects are spectacular without being over done. It also nice to see movies without the excessive use of the F-word.

I really enjoyed the first one when it came out but I think I'll be waiting for the dvd release on this one.
