Just make your post and move on. Never look back. Make your points clear and logical and avoid attacking others personally even if they attack you. Any sensible reader will consider what you have written on its merits and won't be paying attention to the thumbs.

The way I see it...we already have them so I see no difference.... the only thing is you can see who agrees or disagrees....does it really matter who it is?...
Only very weak minded snowflakes would be offended…by a thumbs up or thumbs down feature…It begs the question how they go about dealing with people offline…if they are so sensitive and intolerant of people disagreeing with their opinions online? I can imagine them looking for a safe space or shouting “hate speech” or getting very nasty and shutting the opposing opinion down….without any valid reason…
I have seen how some clicks go about their business online and it is not a pleasant sight….If you disagree with their ideology or just one member of the click…then be assured that you will get many jumping in and virtue signalling their gangs members…that they are in support and ready to attack the opposing opposition….
I have had gang attack happen to many times online and it’s disgusting to be honest and surprised it is allowed to happen as often as it does…It like a gang of communists…wanting to dictate to offers, what to think and to never oppose the oppression of free speech and free expression…
I won’t sit back and let others dictate to everyone…what they can and can’t say in opposition to another…I can present my disagreement of another in a very civilised and mature way…others seem to lack that ability and try to shutdown…good honest debating and muture discussion, because they are too weak minded to understand, that some of us are free thinkers and not part of a collective mind set
The feature saves a lot of trolling be perpetrated on people and gives people the chance to agree or disagree with another…without getting backlash…
Let’s not forget that disabled people use social networking sites a lot, because some of them, are unable to leave the house…so those people should not have to deal with the negative consequences of agree or disagreeing with another’s post…
I say keep the identity of the uses of the new feature hidden and give people the free choice to decide how they agree or disagree with another…

Sometime I enjoy looking back and reading some of threads...not all are laughs and giggles...some have many facts and intelligent debating too

Well okay..........if you want to go ahead. Meanwhile I'll try and keep fresh facts coming.
Have ever heard the phrase...under the thumb Men sometimes use it to tease others men... example.... why can't you come to the pub tonight mate? My girlfriend won't let me go... Can't you tell her it's your choice? And go without for a long period of time... Your under the thumb mate...your under the thumb
