the poor former Rhodesia. The latter being THE bread basket of sub saharan Africa, under White rule. Mugabwe and cronies did a fine job of fixing all that. Just where are all those funds from the diamond "national bank trusts" after expropriation. There's corruption everywhere, for sure, but then there's the Dark Continent's very special sort. Now new "leadership" want's to invest in the land's rich mineral resources, and being bankrupt, using foreign investment. The question is, can the drive to suply LiCO3 for the growth in electric cars be managed to keep the natural tendencies of typical such leaders to rob and steal in check, and to drive away the Zlotys? More to the point, can it all be managed so as to spread the huge financial benefits more to the people? Who's holding their breath? V-Aa.

I have a theory that only cold weather peoples can organise, the mutual experience of and defence against the elements is what gives cold weather races the ability to regard the other. Wherever the sun beats there is impulsive and less conscientious people who can or will not see anything above and beyond themselves. The sun will provide, the banana plant will provide and there is less onus on the whole becoming greater than the sum of its parts, the competition is the lion in the bushes and the neighbouring tribe not the metaphorical competition of species against the elements(.i.e group against the environment).

Suffice it to say if your country can't handle capitalism don't think about attempting socialism. If the default is beyond your abilities, don't try advanced. Everything in Africa needs to be driven down to the smallest scale and simplest level, to drastically reduce the role of organisation and anything which requires person A to regard person B. They need to default on the capitalism, for a jungle tribe capitalism is advanced.

Where's the Marxism which said the American wiping out the Sioux and replacing the new world with capitalism was a good thing?(a view shared by Ayn Rand). Where's this revolutionary holocaust Marxism where weak and backward races get wiped out by material progress? How has white guilt inverted Marxism so that today those least capable of socialism are regarded as its main focus? At one time Marxism spelt death to tribalism, islam and the rest of it.

It is amazing how many black africans who did not want the white man to rule their country are now living in a white mans' country. Whenever I meet a black Zimbawean my advice is to go back to Mugabe' s Utopia.

Yes I've not even thought of it that way.

But I think only the leaders felt that way, not the common people. wave

The good thing about Zimbabwe, it makes places like Papua New Guinea look really together.
