When I click on free I can see several that say free.
Reading further it says that free is just a trial.
I have right now; "Windows live mail".
Microsoft 7, is no longer supporting this, nor as I understand is "Outlook Express"

Anyone know GMX?............. Or or or?

Why not abandon Microsoft misery and move to a stable and secure platform running Linux or Apple computers and their email servers and clients. Apple is the way, their is no other way to Apple.... wave

A number of things , main one . I replaced my laptop this time last , already had windows 10 along with a lot of bits I never use . October- November update windows10 , 6 gb of file happened . It would come on , tell me not to turn off laptop etc , how good it was going to be . I chewed a lot of data @ $12 per GB and failed to load far more than the 6 gb . Tried after midnight when my data is cheap , failed again and again . Once full file loaded , and it failed to initialise , not sure that is the correct word . Meanwhile I'm spending 2-3 hours several nights in a row trying to load it . It tried every trick to get me to try since , and doing it from within my laptop currently as sometimes my satellite connection has not booted up . Still trying but usually just once a day , cant leave my laptop unattended because of it . If windows 10 was as good as they say then why did they need to replace it as 6gb is no update but an upgrade . Seriously considering moving away from windows 10 or Microsoft completely .

I have seen a constant theme expressed often that windows 7 was good . I had no problem with it where's I have problems with windows 10 . Expense and the risk I won't be able to match my cattle IED reader to Mac or Apple keeps me on windows .

I still use Win 7 64 bit, however I ran into problems using chrome browser as microsoft gmail certificates had expired.
I still use my hotmail accessed via , yahoo is still active.
I use gmail accessing my mail using FireFox Nightly browser this browser is updated nightly.
I access secure banking using Yandex browser which I think is actually a Russian version of Google Chrome.
I use my Microsoft Office 2000 Premium with the exception Microsoft changed Outlook 2000 mail .pst file format so I was forced to purchase Outlook 2007. My Office suite is fully patched with Sp1, Sp2, Sp3 and Sp4.

If your sticking with Win 7 you need to know bill gates update go on to force install of win 10. Therefor i turned windows updates, defender, windows explorer, chrome, google earth etc to stop gates from corrupting my lawfully installed programs.
I use other paid anti-virus programs and have extensive backups.

Jenny your internet provider service probably includes email...

Hi Rob, Microsoft tried to change me to 10 almost daily.
The tech who fixes my computer kept telling me to ignore it and don't do it.
Then Microsoft finally stopped pestering me about 10
Rob, I am not that good at all this tech stuff and after advise from some, I have decided for now to keep my server and keep 7 as long as I can..........
If I have to buy a new computer may go with Apple this time
Did I not read that Outlook is going out too?
Thank you Rob appreciate your input wave
