PK. Good points. But as in successful childless couples, partnership, shared tasks, teaching each other, etc., ---seems to often work best, with loving committed parents.

I agree with a poster saying rule books should be thrown out.
To listen to your child and hopefully have enough common sense to see that child through adulthood.
My advice, make sure you know yourself and who you are and experience the world as much before u part your wisdom to a little human being, thats never or seldom going to happen.
Im also a big believer in exposing, and i say that in a sensible way, to all kinds of people and races within reason....teach children that its not just white priviledged people that inhabit the earth but that its made up of all kinds of people..races and creeds.
