There are many different ways to start over. It depends on your outlook. I have twice, one due to me. The other beyond my control.

Sometimes you just have to go with your instincts and do the best you can.

Starting over brings a fresh outlook, the excitement of new adventures, and challenges that keeps us moving forward. We discover new things about ourselves, find new interests, new purposes, new goals.

Take breaks when necessary to heal....don't sever ties when sad or with a heavy heart. That sadness is not always telling us the truth or giving us a clear perspective..... hug

Id like to think we are never too old for new fresh starts and beginnings.
Education is top of my list and been a longing for a while now.
Starting small might be better...but knowing my personality ill go full steam ahead.

Thanks Kaybee.
I dont have ties to sever and im thankful for that...i did those many years ago now.

But you know when a formula, place, scene isnt quite working anymore and i think if even in one area of life or all of it needs an overhaul its exciting and damn scary in equal measure.

Baby steps, baby steps. thumbs up

I know some may disagree but age is not a stop for making life exciting again...
To do what you trully love and enjoy will benefit you greatly especially in the long run...
I've seen many young people die of the stress and determination to fit into a box...sad indeed...
Follow your insticts and heart, that's the best advice I can give, it worked with me...
It's not always easy but it's worth it when you look back one day and see the long road you walked to be where you are today...
You know what to do, I am sure... :-)

Never forget the worst times of your life if you want to do anything brave. If you need the strength to do something, look what you've been through already.

I would say scary at first Dee, but it turned into being exciting starting over again. First one, no I didn't I think it was the right decision for all concerned. The second was a learning experience for me, one that I found challenging, but it gave me strength and I did learned a lot about people at the time and places.

Yes i agree fully.
Ive never wanted to live around people who like to put others in a box ..thereby limiting them...im grown im in no box myself...but i can see, esp with kids how learning that from a young age is disheartening...

I know what i want....i guess i was looking for experiences..and maybe just a thread about others lives what they want to share.

Im starting something next weekend which will see the first area grow and thats beyond exciting.
Im yet to gain strength in the set backs but its all coming together.

Thanks

I don't mind sharing Dee, the first instance was my divorce. Living alone and with a very young child. The second time was when I lost my home in a house fire and everything in it.

I started my new life in my own country... I could make more money and have better life elsewhere...
I choose to stay and improve my country for the generations ahead...

I have a right to speak like everyone else.

And I shall do so.

But also for a "new beginning" it is very important to remove information about yourself giving the impression of "some other person" isn't it?!!
