pedro27: I had 5 psychotic episodes from 2000 to 2010......since 2010 I have no symptoms of it
I presume ur still on medication, as I understand schizophrenia is for life, and can't be cured....yet....Just keep on taking ur medication, and u will be just fine....
R u good at some musical things....?
I believe that schizophrenic people r very musical....

my diagnosis is schizoaffective disorder, which has a better prognosis (outcome) then schizophrenia
I am in full remission since to 2010 I still take medications and will most probably for life I don't mind
yes I love music I can get eurphoria from my favourite songs but only special songs I love

there are cases of people being cured of schizophrenia without medication, but it takes years and a lot of support. It seems it would be impossible by oneself.

I know people who were bipolar or schizophrenic. They no longer take medication and therapy as the doctor says they don't need to anymore. But I know for some people its for life. Everyone is different. I wish you the best Pedro and your little boy is indeed a miracle.
