Bear….maybe I will also be like that when I'm older, but currently it's almost instant, except where my kids r concerned, in the long term, not immediate....

If we don't want to crash and burn, we sometimes need to make instant decisions, often described as knee-jerk reactions. All of us do that.
On the other hand, where a situation is full of complexities, only fools rush in. So, the time taken to reason things to a logical conclusion is predicated on the number and nature of the complexities. How long is a piece of string?
