Looking like we couldn't handle a hard brexit will make a soft brexit worse. There is a confidence trick at play. But I wouldn't jump on Donald Trump's bandwagon because the American economy is flying without wings, we thought it was bad in 2008 but if the markets collapse again there's absolutely nothing in reserve. It's 2005 on steroids every thing which should be saved up for the future and every longterm effort is being cracked open and served up to arseholes as a massive breakfast.

This is fine for the people who voted Trump and Brexit. Being old they'll be dead soon anyway. But what we're living through now is the last baby boomer blow out and breaking of the bank.

You are an elegant beauty, regardless, I was very lucky to find such beauty in my early years. Now I dream on canvas and recite Sailing to Byzantium when I think of you.

aries1234: First let me say my preference is for a hard Berxit, there would be complete control of immigration, reducing it to a tricklle of trur Asylum seekers, whereas at the moment any Tom d*ck of Harry can come in and bring all his relatives, immediately getting advantage of the National Health and other benefits hard won by the British. Our cities have been sold down the river and many governmental positions taken over by foreigners

The British people have already been emasculated by the draconian gun laws, and the nanny state taking over in many ways. The British people have really had enough and we want hard Brexit..
When the British in the past benefitted from their colonies, was OK.
now they want to stop their beneficiaries, coming in.

Bernie was a world class thief from Wall Street. He contributed to whatever party was in power.

This is how you let the system off by making it about the jews, soak up the frustration with capitalism and turn it on the Jews. The rich are not too greedy, only the Jews. Free markets would work perfectly - without the Jews! And at the same time you're in bed with Israel. The cynical zionism that see Jews moving to Israel as the next best thing now you can't kill them all .

Hard Brexit for ever. Tell Germany to keep their cars. Mercedes, BMW, Skoda, VW. Tell France to keep their cars. Citroen, Renault, Peugeot. Italy. The same. AND Spain. They can keep their fruit and vegetables.

We can always get our cars from Asia, like most of us do. Also, America is busting to sell us cars.

If they think they can give us a bad deal, let them think again. They will upset 66 million potential customers, at their peril.

Our biggest problem with all that (above) is that we don't have a manufacturing industry anymore. Thanks Mrs. Thatcher. We have become a nation of service industries, instead of shopkeepers (as was once quoted). We make nothing (to speak of) and we don't have the correct education system in place, to start a manufacturing industry overnight.

I really want to get out of Europe. Get away from bureaucrats who cannot be sacked or voted out, while they make laws that favour their own people and penalise the rest of us. Most of all I want to return MY country back into the place I recognised from my childhood. That will mean NO more burkas nor hijabs. We are an island nation. We do not have elastic borders. Immigration on a vast scale must stop and the sooner the better. People coming to this country should be asked one question. "Why do you want to come to the United Kingdom?" If they answer, "To become British." Then they should be welcomed with open arms. Then told that they should leave behind all their foreign baggage. Europeans, I have no issues with. Come one and all. It is the influx of people from the middle east, that we cannot cope with. That part of the world has been a thorn in the side of many nations since the 12th century. By the looks of things, nothing has changed since then. Common travel from Europe was the reason most people voted for Brexit. My views have not changed. May God help us.
