I did a poll on this. No the majority of them don't. Too lazy or illiterate who knows.
Of course I read them, if they're there. At least I can tell whether someone is articulate or not.
Some people do, and some people don’t so gigi don’t get discouraged
I used to read profiles. Unfortunately just about all of the women's profiles I looked at contained almost no real or truthful information about the person or what their looking for.
Consequently it's rare that I bother to look at any profiles.

I do. Every word. It's amazing what you can glean from a few words. It's the photos I tend to ignore because I've yet to meet someone who really does looks like their photo. They just give me a very basic ideaof build shape and that's about itI walked into myself in a full length mirror once and didn't realise it was me. I even apologised to myself and stood back to let her pass *cringe*. So I may not be the best person to give any heed to

Even if you do got a picture up that’s good they still don’t read itSo? A serious person WILL read profiles. And as Moe said, a serious person is less likely to read a profile without a pic. We can use only what we've got.
Count me in Mesange, I read it attentively twice today ......
Reading the profiles help to find the spammers and flag them to help to try to keep the rubbish of this site.

2 ways though..best thing is to enjoy every min. together and laugh, smile and dont sweat the things we cant handle..together just being loved is what both understand and is all that matters. This is spoken from one that is lonely and just knows...Love now a days is short lived and rare. Grasp onto the heart that speaks not the looks; within reason...Good luck guys Many good women read the whole profile in hopes she will find the not so perfect guy but the guy that is perfect for her as too some guys do. I think most people do read the profiles on here. If they find the other person is not when they are looking for they pass over the profile without comment and quite rightly so as nobody wants to waste their time.There are of course the scammers who try most profiles on a mass attempt to harvest information or to find a mug. These will bother you even though you clearly state in your profile that they are not the type of person that you are looking for.
People have noticed that the plagues of these scammers even when reported with picture matches are still on here and have not been removed! Other scammers from clearly blocked areas are also getting through. They are the ones who don't read profiles.
