MsContessa: Do you think it’s important to win every argument.. What are your tools of battle. For example, intellect, analysis, insults, etc........
I don't like arguments.
Everyone has their own opinion and I have no problems accepting it no matter how different it is from mine own.
People who always want to be right are very exhausting. I think that having good relationships with others is more important than being right.
On forums - I like to talk to people, read other people's opinions, learn something from them, learn something about myself by sharing my own view on things... I don't like arguing, discussing, proving something to someone... Those kinds of discussions are very tiring for me.
In real life - an argument is the last resort. It comes when everything else has failed and - I hate every minute of it. If I start to argue - it means that I reached my limits of tolerance. I CAN argue - nicely and not so nicely, but I REALLY hate it and avoid it at any cost. I'd rather bite my tongue and simply - leave than get into an unpleasant argument.
Actually, the older I get - the less the talking is important to me... I rely much more on feelings...
nahhhhhhh,...I like to debate and will throw a point in here or there....otherwise I say what I have to say and let that be it...I see no point in continuing to argue its just wasted energy that has no point to it....

Maturity is the ability to respond to the environment in an appropriate manner. Some people never mature!

Yes! Build your opponent a golden bridge to retreat across.
One needs to know when to walk away from an argument and not put a lot of energy in keeping it going beyond the point of brainless verbal diarrhea... Waiting in the bushes ready to jump in a fight is a sport on here...

hell no . Wouldn't even think about trying to win some arguments sometimes cause I'd be dead just from someone looking at me . Nothing like riding wild style
