I am grateful ( Archived) (116)

As a long time member of this site, I want to acknowledge my gratefulness for this site.

Not only do they give us members the chance to meet our significant others (two great loves in my case) but that they allow us to have a very respectful and interesting discussions about almost anything else.

I would like to invite everyone and share me in thanking the owners, moderators and anyone involved in providing us this free site.

Thank you again moderators for having a good control and your fast response to cut incessant insults from some posters when needed. I have been involved many a times and I have learned that in order for all of us to learn we must remain decent and positive on all of our posts to foster a good relationship.

Of course, we will have a lot of disagreements on almost everything and why not, we are all different, but agreeing to disagree is the mood that the owners promote.

I have learned and I am trying to be good to everyone, including those that disagree with me and don't like me.

I can almost hear everyone that I am the number one poster to insult who disagrees with me, I can assure you, I never plan on doing it nor do I remember that I have started it.

But like the letter of the owners to me, I write a very controversial topics and expect so many people to react to it negatively. I understand it now and have tried so many a times to be civil on all of you who have expressed your disapproval and contempt on my all my topics and posts and I know it is not an easy task but I am trying.

So with this thread, I do want to invite everyone to give me a chance to start all over again and again, I am so grateful that they allow us to post and write about almost anything.

Absolutely Obs. Except this is not my intention. It is an honest and well earned accolades for having removed all the nasty posts of me and the others involved who usually aim at derailing my threads to be removed.

You have been here a long time too, and had so many profiles and keep coming back, why?

I have only two profiles and that is for 8 years. I changed the first one to honor and respect my love whom I met here from Australia.

Ok I I was a professor for more than 15 years, maybe I overstated it but no reason to be sarcastic is there?

This is not to make anyone feel any worse than it already is. You don't approve any of my political posts and topics and that is alright. I understand. Just be nice. Can you do that?
