pKrema: Can we just forget what the thick, clever books say and actually speak for our own experience...?!
I agree, books are a perception of other people ideologies on life and not necessarily suited to your own. People have to get out there & experience it themselves .

I never try and put in a box behaviour or feeling, emotion or a person... Everyone comes with their unique experience and there's always something new to be learned from it...
tangeos: When we base our actions on such feeling as anger it often leads to stupid actions and to misery because what we really experience in the moment is just signaling the quality of our thinking at that moment.
We experience anger for several reasons including it being a defense mechanism.... suppressed anger is really bad for you as it remains simmering so it is best to get it out! You are right about stupid actions so you really have to be focused on something productive and be alone! Working with the public can be very stressful but when the public are your bread and butter; that tends to focus the mind.
The anger I can’t find a reason for is passive aggression. If regular anger can be a reproductive advantage and lifesaver in a dangerous situation then what’s the point of passive aggression?
Passive aggression receive nil points for passion, it’s no good in a scrape and nor is it a particularly honest feeling. There are some occasions when the truth comes out because of real anger. Or is that the point of passivity? It never does anything good per se it simply enfeebles the potentially bad.
