Yesterday, a bee flew into my flat. I was just about to open the window wider and try to encourage it to fly back out when I suddenly had a money saving idea. The bee is now safely contained in a special bee house I constructed from an old shoe box and some cling film. What I am now hoping is that someone will be able to tell me how I get the bee to start making honey. I intend to transfer the bee into a small glass jar and keep moving it to a new one as it fills each jar with honey. If everything goes to plan I may catch more bees and sell the surplus.

Bees make honey of something, presumably pollen. So, you'd need to give it some. Also water, mostly with whiskey. And they like to be read a good night story before bed time. They are very sensitive to surrounding temperature and humidity, mind. And social.

Source: national geographics.

Send some honey this way, would you?

Wasps

They like to sleep in silk sheets to be fully productive, so move over in the bed.

That's rather a mouthful, I was thinking more of a short nickname. Something that it would easily recognise when I called it.

Stop it, molly. Everyone knows that an orange won't just turn itself into marmalade.

I don't want to go into graphic detail, but an empty jar would be filled monthly.
