A leaked memo reportedly states the cross-party group is not trying to undermine Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership of the party over the issue.
However People’s Vote are reported to believe they have the best shot at securing a new referendum by getting Labour, the main opposition party, to back one.
“This campaign is not about Jeremy Corbyn and we must not – will not – use it to damage or undermine the party’s leadership or attack them personally,” The Guardian reported the memo as saying.
Those opposing a second referendum say the result of the June 2016 poll must be respected and a new vote would undermine the democratic process.
Barry Gardiner, the shadow trade secretary, last week warned that holding a second vote could lead to civil disobedience.

The politicians supporting a second vote would be voted out at the next elections.

Not if the young & all Remainers get their way and turn up to vote - Even now when we argue the leave case they would have all those of us who voted out Including Owners of Businesses shot if they could .

A second vote is a big NO from me , it's not Ireland where the government can fool the people into a mess , like they did with the Lisbon and Maastricht treaty's,,,,
I think the principle of democracy will lose a lot of its meaning if we set a precedent for the re running of referenda and elections. But, notwithstanding that, I think there is a strong case for having another referendum on Brexit. I think a lot of people who voted with their heart would have made a different choice had their head been in possession of the relevant information. It is becoming increasingly clear that leaving the EU is going to create far more problems than it solves.
The opposers of a second referendum obviously don't feel confident that the outcome would go their way.

I suspect a second vote would result in a remain landslide. There should never have been a referendum for such a complex issue in the first place. The whole thing is bordering on farce.
It'd probably go the other way if there were to be a second referendum. 52% voting for Remain caused by a shift in the urban north. Leave can count on the provincial queens, but lose some of its working class supporters whose vote to Leave was a protest against things as they are(whatever that is).

Once you have a welfare state you can't simply dismantle it and I believe what will cost Leave is more austerity. People knowing that it means more austerity. If you never have a welfare state the sick and less able are simply left to die which in theory gives the country a competitive edge, but once you start caring about quality of life for the bottom 80% of society there's no going back on this without society descending into chaos. If we were to become as elitist as America worshipping self and wealth and allowing the poor to die in the streets this would ruin us. To imitate American self-absorption would be the last thing we ever do.

Why else would Boris Johnson and a variety of other right-wingers claim that Brexit will increase funding for Britain's most socialist insitution(the NHS)?
Not because it's true, but because they know who they're talking to. If they really knew what Nigel Farage thought about the NHS they'd shoot him. And that's problem. The leave vote was a vote for left-wing economics and that's why we have right-wingers promising to increase funding for socialist institutions and as these promises get broken the whole man of the people image will shatter alongside them.
Europe is too complexed to lob us altogether each country is totally different, I want the Irish currencty back...and each country to be independent of the EU in Europe, our sourvity was given away....I admire the UK on having the courage to leave.
