Actually, when our man from the dutch government wanted a cartoonmatch about Allah, Pakistan was demonstrating, treatened to sent the dutch ambassador home and attack us dutch people anywhere. So the cartoonmatch was called off.
I think if we western people stand up and demonstrate and threaten the countries where this is legal, maybe we can help these children.
Complaining on the internet doesn't help.
It must be a worldwide demonstration. Then the governments of all countries has to listen.

But it is a good idea to do full research. In many countries, it is not now legal for these marriages to take place. So it is not condoned officially. Many countries are trying to protect childhoods and do not get the recognition they deserve.
Yes, it can still happen in these countries, as many areas, especially rural areas, are slow to change traditions. But at least the policies are in place.
I don't like topics that are just there to make a headline like tabloid newspapers. So a more balanced approach should be taken.
